    Question

I bought Jess a couple weeks ago and noticed when I look at her head on that her left eye looks like it is about to blink. Like it is looking down. With the right eye the eye lash is straight forward but with the left eye the eyelash looks like it is facing down. This makes her face not look semetrical. I have been trying to look at everyone's albums with Jess in them to see if this is how she is suppost to look but I can't tell. Can someone post a picture showing an upclose straight on shot of Jess. I wish I knew how to post pictures other wise I would show you what I mean.

I noticed right after we got our Jess that her left eye looked smaller than the right, and the lashes looked different too. I made this album to post on the board at that time:

DD was already attached to her so I decided not to return her.

If it is like this all the time then I would suggest sending her to the doll hospital. But if it happens only sometimes ( my felicity's eyelashes don't always stay up but the majority of the time they do) then there is nothing wrong! I hope you figure it out!

I didn't notice anything strange about our Jess' eyes.

It is not in the actual blinking of the eye it looks like the left eyes eye lashes are facing downward even when she is standing up. It looks like her eye socket is smaller on the left side and her eye was set too high not allowing her eye lash to go all the way up. ??Does this make sense??

Yes it does make sense! Now that I understand it right I think you should send her to the doll hospital see what they can do!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That makes sense to me. It sounds like her eye mechanism was tipped too far backward when it was set in the vinyl eye socket.

I got an AG off eBay that had this same problem, only her eye was pointing too far to the left. I fixed it myself, but it was a bit labor-intensive.
